As 2011 arrives, I wish to extend my wishes to all for a prosperous, healthy, and Happy New Year.
Reflecting on the 2010 year, I am proud of th fine job our Post does in helping our veterans and our community. All the hard work of the many volunteers this year is extremely heart warming. In these trying times, we must strive even harder to introduce new ideas and concepts for raising necessary funds and find new, inovative ways of ensuring our hard work for our comrades and community.
Attendance at the monthly meetings of our Post and both Men's and Womens Auxilliary is paramount to achieving this goal. More voices with more ideas can only make us a stronger, more fruitful organization. All of our hearts are in the right place when it comes to helping our worthy comrades and fellow community members, but heart alone does not get the job done.
Volunteering to assist at the Post in accomplishing the many projects is a worthwhile and enriching endeavor.
With over 250 regular members and the additional manpower available from the Men's and Womens Auxilliaries, finding sufficient volunteers should not be a hard task. Let us all step up and do our part in making this Post the best in New Jersey.
With 2011 having arrived, reflect on your contributions to the daily operation of your Post, and if necessary, include in your New Year resolutions the active effort to promote your wonderful organization on a regular basis as you go through the year.
We need you and enjoy working with you in conducting the day to day responsiblities of our fine operation.
Thanks to all who have made this year the success that it has been.
Do not forget to thank your Canteen volunteers for all their efforts throughout the year in making your visit to the Post rewarding.
